PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
I can help you to put the past behind you
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a state of extreme anxiety that can severely disrupt normal life, damaging work and family relationships. Those who suffer from it can find themselves caught in a trap of powerful, negative recurring thoughts, images or nightmares. These can be accompanied by frightening emotions, anger and short temper that can feel overwhelming.
PTSD can be the result of exposure to violence witnessed or experienced personally. Sometimes the incidents are so disturbing that they continue to surface in our mind or alter our personality for the worse. We find that we don't seem to be able to leave them behind and let them naturally fade away. Instead, different non-threatening situations can seem to trigger strong negative feelings that throw us off track. We feel anxious or act negatively because of these experiences. This may then occur more frequently leading to a vicious circle that is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Hypnotherapy serves a dual function for sufferers of PTSD. Firstly, the traumatic incidents are specifically dealt with through a special technique called ‘Rewind’. This process carefully combines relaxation, imagery and disassociation to significantly alter the emotional response to the memories. Secondly, self confidence is strengthened to enable people to rebuild their lives, get back that missing sense of control and move forward with life in a new, more positive manner.
